Our students have traveled the world!
Over the years, our students have roamed the world and have volunteered in hotels, hostels, shops, on farms and nature reserves while others have studied and taught in language schools. Here are a few examples:
Laurie interned in South Africa at the Atlantic Point Backpackers youth hostel. She helped with a whole host of tasks throughout the hostel.

Laurence did her internship in Peru with IVHQ. She taught English to primary school children and volunteered at a wildlife a sanctuary.

Étienne did his internship at the Rainforest Inn in Puerto Rico. He helped with the upkeeping of the grounds and a variety of other tasks.

Élyse did her internship on the Spanish island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands. She volunteered at the university and stayed with a family.

Mégane did her internship on a farm just outside of Brisbane for the first part and the second part helping service puppies socialize.

Nathan did his internship in Bilbao, Spain with the Instituto Hemingway. He took Spanish classes and did some volunteer work too.

Frédérique interned at the Kelowna International Hostel where she had the opportunity to perfect her English and experience the culture of British Columbia.

The Language program at the Cégep de La Pocatière – Campus Montmagny (Québec) is a college-level program that allows students to improve their English skills and acquire advanced knowledge of Spanish while learning about the culture and traditions of these world languages.
Throughout their curriculum, the students take part in a variety of activities in order to develop their independence and resourcefulness.
The culmination of their studies is a project which consists in either 6-week immersion in the country and language of their choice or a local cultural exchange experience.
