Two weeks have passed since I arrived into the city of El Yunque, Puerto Rico. I am working and staying at the Rainforest Inn, a very nice bed and breakfast. When I arrived at the airport, they took me there and we went to eat in a local restaurant, The Platanal. I had a local meal that is call here a mofongo and Rene had a fried fish. It was special to me to see the first in the plate! They are very welcoming and nice with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first two first week were hard for me because I was to only traveller here. So, I was most of the time alone and I need to cook my own meal with vegetarian food, but now I am adapting and I am getting better. This week, I met a guy the will make me have a tour of the Island next week. I am very excited about this beautiful opportunity that I got to visit the Island with him. The first two weeks, I went to the beach and I worked a lot, I began the pool project, I did a swing, and cleaning all the things because we will have a special guest this weekend; Zuleyka Rivera, miss universe in 2006, she will come at the Rainforest Inn to do promotion about bed and breakfast in Porto Rico. The owners are very happy of my work, they give me the next week off, so I will be able to travel all around the Island with my new friend!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
