Not only I went to Sydney with my friend Caroline but it also meant that my trip in Australia has come to an end. I am writing with tears in my eyes knowing that I am going to leave all my Aussie life behind. The friendships that I made, the people that I met, they were all part of my amazing journey here, in Brisbane. EF was the best place for me, and I mean it. Going to school and talking with the staff and other students is definitely something that I’ll remember forever. I will forever be grateful to have lived in Australia for 6 weeks. As much as I miss my home, friends and family, my stay in Australia was the best thing that could have happened to me and I am scared to leave it all behind. It has been an emotional week and god knows that I have not finished being emotional. My flight is not until the 11 of May but still, I don’t want to leave.

Sydney was wonderful. It is absolutely mind-blowing to see this beautiful city. Of course, without any questioning, I visited the famous Opera House. What can I say, I was so speechless that I cried at least 4 times. Every time I saw this astonishing establishment, I was tearing up. Moreover, my friend and I took a walk on the Harbour Bridge and it was phenomenal. And don’t ask how beautiful it was at night, because it was perfect with all the lights.

This week is my last week at Ef and with my host family. We baked cookies, watched movies together and also talked about nothing and everything. I’ll also miss my roommate Soeun, who comes from South Korea!
