On Sunday, I decided to go to the Strawberry Festival, because who doesn’t love strawberries? Especially when they’re fresh. The Strawberry Festival takes place in Mgarr, a town located in the west of Malta. Every year, they celebrate this red fruit, and many people attend. If you’ve ever been to the Saint-Tite Western Festival, then you’ll have an idea of what this festival is like, but instead of cowboy-themed events, there are strawberry pastries and drinks everywhere! I enjoyed discovering how the Maltese celebrate this juicy and sweet fruit.

Kids Drawings

Strawberry Slush

Strawberry dessert

Next week, I’m planning to either go to the Bird Park with my friends, swim at St. Peter’s Pool, or maybe try out a new activity I haven’t discovered yet.

Each week is filled with different emotions, but this week made me realize how proud I am of myself and what I have accomplished.
