Student questions

What do hosts need to provide students?

As the host, it’s your responsibility to provide the student with tasks and projects in which they can learn new skills and have an educational and cultural experience.

Hosts generally are asked to provide accommodation and food in exchange for help from students of around 4-5 hours per day 5 days a week.

What is the length of the internship?

The internship lasts 6 weeks and takes place in April-May. The student can stay longer if so desired by both parties.

What is expected of me as an intern?

Generally you will be expected to help around 4-5 hours per day in exchange for food and accommodation.

Conditions and agreements may vary depending on the skills you can offer and the requirements of each host.

It is important you communicate as much as possible beforehand with your hosts so that you both know each other’s expectations.

Can I find my own host?

Yes, you can! You can choose from our selection hosts or you can find one on your own.

You have the freedom to build your internship based on your interests and tastes which allows you to have a unique experience and this means you can find your own host.

Your choice needs to however be approved by your internship coordinator.
