The Arts, Literature and Communication // Language Program at the Cégep de La Pocatière, Campus Montmagny, in Québec, Canada (also known as the Language Program) is a pre-university program that allows students to perfect their English, acquire advanced knowledge in Spanish and become familiar with other languages such as Japanese, German, and Italian.
In addition to enhancing their language skills, students learn about different cultures through a variety of activities inside and outside of the classroom. Cultural workshops, conferences, exhibitions, and field trips are amongst the many things students partake in.
The culmination of their studies is a project which consist in either 6-week immersion in the country and language of their choice or a local cultural exchange at the end the program.
