Aryane is doing her internship at the Escuela San Francisco de Peñas Blancas in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. She will help with various tasks and live with a family.

Issam is doing his internship at the Rainforest Inn. Nestled deep in the El Yunque jungle of Puerto Rico. He will help the owners with a variety of tasks and live directly on site.

EXPERIENCES
Our students have roamed the world and have volunteered in hotels, hostels, shops, on farms and in nature reserves while others have studied in language schools. Here are a few examples:

Kelly (on the right) did her internship at a charity shop in Ireland with Volunteer world. A full immersion experience with homestay!

British Columbia
Aimy did her internship in Victoria, British Columbia. She lived with a family and helped them by taking care of house tasks, and assisting the lady with her physical rehabilitation.

ACTIVITIES
To create a stimulating learning experience for the students and prepare them for their internships, teachers organize a variety of activities, both inside and outside of the classroom.
Whether it’s cultural outings or having immigrant guests talk to them about adapting to a new environment, our priority remains that the language adventure in Montmagny is a unique experience for everyone!
Hiking
Students enjoying a hike up the Pain de Suce. Offers a great view of the Montmagny archipelago and the mountains of Charlevoix.
Food Tasting
Students take part in many taste-testing activities allowing them to explore cuisine across different cultures.
Japanese Calligraphy
Students taking part in a Japanese calligraphy workshop with Tomoko, a Japanase native living in Montmagny.
Latin Dancing
Dancing lessons at Dos Con Dos Latin dance shcool in Québec City. Students learn and practice different styles such as salsa and bachata.
Montreal Trip
Students on a school trip to Montreal discovering the city and opening their eyes to the possibility of exploring the world!
Día de los muertos
Students learning about the tradition of the “Day of the Dead”, or día de los muertos, as well as discovering some typically Mexican songs.
