Soon I will be out of my comfort zone and close to the Mediterranean Ocean. A little island just below Italy, named Malta, more specifically in the city of St Julian’s. An exciting immersion indeed! I hope to discover this new culture with open-mindedness and enjoy the hot weather as well as be able to use my swimsuit to swim in the salt water and sunbathe a little. It is better to anticipate all the beautiful scenery, rather than fret about possible problems that could occur. But anxiety is stronger than me; the stress has already begun to overwhelm me while I sleep. This is a natural reaction, I guess. Now one week before my departure, I have interacted with my host family, and they seem incredible. Not knowing them was stressful for me because my new family will be my safe place. Now I have all my information for Malta, and I am ready. I just need to buy some comfy shoes. My suitcases are already well advanced, I have my euros, so watch out Malta! I arrive in one week!
