Entry #2: How to Discover New Spots!

EF, English, South Africa

Hi guys! Another week has passed at light speed! Remember last week when I told you I was supposed to climb Table Mountain to see the sunset? I couldn’t complete it because of a knee problem. I hiked for 1 hour and 30 minutes before going back down. I’m still very proud of myself! However, I spent a fantastic time inside Kirstenbosch Garden with Kim, Odi, and Belal. Once again, the view was incredible with Table Mountain as the background. We even had a picnic near a lake, surrounded by birds.

On Sunday, we went to the beach to soak up some sunshine and take a refreshing dip in the water. The weather was just perfect! Obviously, I got sunburned on my shoulders. When the sun began to set, we decided to play volleyball with a soccer ball. Unfortunately for me, the ball chipped the tip of my nail, which caused my real nail to detach slightly from my finger. So, I took a trip to the hospital, where I was treated wonderfully! Luckily, it was not too serious, and it will heal on its own.

Also, we went to the Waterfront to do some shopping to buy souvenirs. We had a joyful day, and at the end, we walked by the ocean and, again, we watched the sunset. I do think I am falling in love with it!

This weekend, I am saying goodbye to Kim and Odi since their stay here is finished. It will sadly be a hard goodbye! In the meantime, I will visit my first museum this weekend with Clara, a girl from Germany. I cannot wait to tell you all about it!

It’s really fun to see how you get close to people and fall in love with the place. Seeing you adventures like the climbing makes realize that amazing views like sunsets or lakes miss in my bucket list of my life. In the end, it’s wonderfull to see you doing this many activities and gives me the interest doing a travel in another country.

Wow the sunset are incredible, i’m jealous! I hope your knee and your finger are fines!! The garden was to beautiful and the birds look a little bit agressive, maybe because i’m scared about them! But, I hope you will pass good times with your friends, before they leave!!

Hi the Kirstenbosch Garden look wonderful with the mountain in the background. The sunset at the beach was beautiful, taking a dip in the water with this view must be insane. You looked like you had a lot of fun, even with the littles injuries.

Fascinating! The view from underneath of the Table Mountain in the cloud looks exactly like in a movie scene. You have made this destination another place to add to my bucket list. Also, I can’t help but wonder how beautiful the sunset must be splendid from over the cloud if it what already beautiful on the ground. Can’t wait to find out!
