Final Entry: The Memories I’m Bringing Home from Iceland

English

Daginn!

Only a few days left, and I can’t believe my journey is almost over. I write these lines not in sadness, but with a heart full of gratitude. I had a wonderful time, and I will cherish every moment spent there. Here is a little recap of some of the most meaningful moments.

One of the thousands of spectacular landscapes that left me speechless

Wunderbar friends

The tomato greenhouse, affectionately called “The Jungle”, where we spent most of our time volunteering.

We considered it our second home (after Bónus of course😉)

A hike with breathtaking scenery

The unforgettable geothermal area next to where I was living.

Malin, my forever gymbro😊

One of the strongest connections I’ve ever experienced. In such a short time, I found a lifelong friend.

The most stunning sunset I’ve ever witnessed

Thank you for following my journey through my blogs. I hope you enjoyed reading them as much as I enjoyed discovering the land of fire and ice. Iceland is such a unique place, and I feel grateful to have experienced it. One thing that is certain, this won’t be my last adventure.

A part of Iceland will always stay in my heart.

And for the friends I made along the way,

Þar til leiðir okkar liggja saman á ný.
