As the first week is now completed, I have the impression that I’ve met myself for real. By changing place, I can already feel that I have changed my thoughts on different aspects of my life. This week was a week of adaptation and learning. As soon as I arrived in Capetown, I decided to do a quick tour of what was around my hostel just to get familiar with my new home. Those first days of exploration gave me the desire to discover more and more about this destination I’ve chosen to explore since a long time ago. I can officially say: “Nice to meet you Capetown!” Being in Capetown gives me the impression that 2019 is a year to move forward fearlessly and to make room for new things; it’s a year to leap.
My three roommates for the next few weeks are girls from France and Germany. Those girls are also working as me at the reception of Atlantic Point to realize an internship and have been here for now five months. Isn’t it perfect to be with people who already know all the best places and activities to do in Capetown? During this first week, I had the chance to join the group and it was impossible for me to get bored. Heading back to Mojo Market from Oranjezicht Farmers Market, there was too much beautiful things to see.

What do I keep in mind from this first week? Say YES to new adventures!
