Entry 4: A Day to Remember ?

British Columbia, Canada, English, Family stay

On Saturday, Bethany and I hopped in the jeep and drove to Victoria. We went to see a display at

the Royal BC Museum. Also, I finally saw a bear! He was just a stuffed bear, but a bear! It was a

display about the animals living on Vancouver Island. I enjoyed how authentic the museum was. The

roof was painted as if it was the clouds in the sky and some walls represented the forest or the

beach. I was incredibly impressed by the details, and I almost thought that I was at the beach

while looking at the different species of birds.

Feeling a little bit hungry, Bethany and I went for Italian pasta! I had a large bowl of seafood

linguini marinara pasta. It tasted amazing; even better after our morning walk.

After our pleasant lunch, we went back to the museum to see a movie on the IMAX screen. It was

about the Animal Kingdom. I felt like I was flying with the birds and swimming with the fish in

the sea. The 3D reality makes the experience even more enjoyable.

Our next stop was to Hatley Castle and it was worthy of a Disney movie. I could imagine the staff

walking through the castle and the royal family arriving through the designated gates. The

gardens of the castle were as impressive as the castle itself. A large variety of plants, trees and

flowers surrounding a pond and the infrastructure of the castle. It romanced the charming palace.

On our way to go get our delicious sushi, we saw a guy on the side of the road acting weirdly. We

thought he was having a heart attack but no, he was just breakdancing!

Next week, I plan on enjoying the sun!?

See you next Sunday!
