I had a moment of realization this week. In less than two weeks, I am going to be in Cape Town, South Africa in another culture and speaking English full time. It was so far away but now that I know which family I am going to stay with, everything seems so real. I hope I will be able to adapt rapidly and enjoy every little experience this trip can give me. I don’t exactly know what I will do but I believe it is the magical thing about this kind of trip. I will go to my EF classes and then see what activities they have to offer. But for now, I know that I need to prepare my travel essentials because, to be honest, I haven’t done anything yet. I am not stressed because I always prepare at the last minute. To conclude, I am excited and grateful to be able to have this experience, but I need to find some time to pack my luggage in the next few days if I want to have clothes in South Africa!
